Gladys Ladwig

Garden City, Kansas G. Berniece Ladwig, age 97, died Sunday, November 6, 2011 at the Garden Valley Retirement Village in Garden City, Kansas. She was born on February 27, 1914 in Emmett, Kansas the daughter of Donald Eugene and Shirley Marie Bottom Siegle. Berniece was a homemaker and had been a resident of Garden City since 1937. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, the Rebekah Lodge, was a 63 year member of the Order of the Eastern Star, a 50 year member of the Sunflower EHU all of Garden City, Kansas. In 1935 she married Wallace Perry in Havensville, Kansas. He died in 1944 in Garden City, Kansas. Then in 1947 she married Clayton Ladwig in Garden City, Kansas. He died in May of 1990 in Garden City, Kansas. Survivors Include: One Daughter, Connie L. Johnson-Mundy of Garden City, Kansas; 5 Grandchildren, 10 Great-Grandchildren and 4 Great-Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, one daughter, Veta Lansdon and two sisters, Katherine Siegle and Imogene Taldo. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30am on Thursday, November 10, 2011 at the Price & Sons Funeral Home in Garden City, Kansas. Friends may call from 10:00am-8:00pm Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will be at the Valley View Cemetery in Garden City, Kansas. Memorials may be given to the Church or to the American Heart Association both in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home of Garden City, KS.
