George Pyle

Garden City, Kansas George Maxwell Pyle, Jr, age 73, died Sunday, November 7, 2010, at his home in Garden City, Kansas. He was born August 15, 1937 in Hutchinson, Kansas the son of George Maxwell and Fern Mildred Chappel Pyle. A lifetime resident of Southwest Kansas he had been an auto parts store salesman in Garden City for many years. George was a United States Air Force veteran and a member of the Christian faith. Survivors Include: His caretaker, Anita L. Salem of Dodge City, Kansas. He was preceded in death by his parents. Graveside Services will be held at 2:00pm on Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at the Penwell-Gable Cemetery and Mausoleum in Hutchinson, Kansas with Reverend Mark Durham presiding. Friends may call from 10:00am-4:00pm on Tuesday at the Price & Sons Funeral Home in Garden City. The family requests memorials be given to St. Catherine Hospice in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home of Garden City, Kansas.
