George C. Bauck, age 96, passed away on Sunday, January 6, 2013 at Wichita County Health Center in Leoti, Kansas. George was born December 25, 1916 in the St. Theresa community of northwestern Wichita County, Kansas, the son of John C. & Theresa Goetz Bauck. A lifetime resident of Wichita County, Kansas, he was a farmer and rancher and had served as a Sergeant in the 13th Armored Division of the United States Army during World War Two.
George was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church of Leoti, Kansas as well as a lifetime member of the V.F.W. He also served on the Wichita County CO-OP and Wichita County ASCS board of directors.
On October 1, 1941 he married Margaret Irene Gilmore at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Wichita County, Kansas. She passed away on February 14, 2011 in Leoti, Kansas.
George's surviving family includes-

His parents, three brothers and 2 sisters have preceded him in death.
Vigil services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, January 10, 2013 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Leoti, Kansas.
Funeral mass will be held at 10:30 am Friday, January 11, 2013 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Leoti, Kansas with Father Bernard Felix officiating.
Burial will be in St. Theresa Cemetery with full military honors provided by the United States Army funeral detail of Fort Riley, Kansas.
Friends may call from noon until 8:00 pm Wednesday and from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm Thursday at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Leoti, Kansas.
Memorials may be given to t St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church or the Leoti EMT's in care of the funeral home.
