Gary Marcy

Gary L. Marcy, age 64, passed away on Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at his home in Scott City, Kansas. He was born on December 6, 1948 in Scott City, Kansas, the son of Kenneth and Mary Elizabeth Brooks Marcy. A lifetime resident of Scott City, Kansas, Gary was a teacher, small business manager, seasonal harvester and electrician. Gary was a graduate of Scott Community High School in 1967 and Kansas University in 1971. His memberships include Abate and National Educators Association. Survivors include his One Son - Michael Seth and Rachel Marcy of Kansas City, Kansas, One Granddaughter - Kailyn Jo Marcy of Kansas City, Kansas, Two Sisters - Mary Ann Evans of Scott City, Kansas, Nancy Jo Marcy of Kansas City, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his Parents and One Infant Sister. A Celebration of Life service will be Saturday, August 10, 2013 at the Bryan Education Center in Scott City, Kansas. Memorials may be given to the Gary L. Marcy Memorial Fund % Price & Sons Funeral Home. Inurnment will be in the Scott County Cemetery in Scott City, Kansas. There will be no calling times.
