Freda Ratzlaff

Freda A. Ratzlaff, age 74, passed away at her home in Scott City, Kansas on Wednesday, September 26, 2012. She was born on July 21, 1938 in Duke, Oklahoma, the daughter of Otis & Roberta Marquart Daffron. A resident of Scott City, Kansas since 1970 moving from Dighton, Kansas, she worked in the Healthcare industry in both Scott City, Kansas and Garden City, Kansas until her retirement. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Scott City, Kansas. Her other memberships included United Methodist Women, Scott County Hospital Auxiliary, and Park Lane Nursing Home Activities Director all of Scott City. On November 24 1964 she married Chester Ratzlaff in Duke, Oklahoma. He passed away on February 20, 2009 in Scott City, Kansas. Survivors include her One Son - Steven & Shari Ratzlaff of Scott City, Kansas, Mother - Roberta Henderson of Moore, Oklahoma, One Grandson - Collin Ratzlaff of Scott City, Kansas and One Granddaughter - Clarissa Ratzlaff of Scott City, Kansas. She was preceded in death by her Father, Husband, One Brother and One Sister. Funeral Services will be held at the United Methodist Church in Scott City, Kansas at 10:30 a.m. Monday, October 1, 2012 with Rev. Dennis Carter presiding. Memorials may be given to the United Methodist Church or the Scott County Library % Price & Sons Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Scott County Cemetery in Scott City, Kansas. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Saturday and 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City, Kansas.
