Frank Kreie

Frank A. Kreie, age 85, passed away on Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at the Scott County Hospital in Scott City, Kansas. He was born on August 13, 1926 in Halstead, Kansas, the son of Frank A. and Beulah Jane Kirk Kreie Sr. A resident of Scott City, Kansas since 2008 moving from Rye, Colorado, he was a US Army Veteran of WWII. Frank worked as a Superintendent for Northern Natural Gas and for Sunflower Electric until his retirement in 1988. He was a member of the First Christian Church of Garden City, Kansas. On April 4, 1948 he married Mary Jeannette Owens in Garden City, Kansas. She survives. Survivors include his Wife - Mary Jeannette Kreie of Scott City, Kansas, One Daughter - Sandra & Stuart Cauthon of Scott City, Kansas, Two Grandsons - Sean Patrick Collins of Garden City, Kansas, Shannon Richard Collins of Manhattan, Kansas, Two Sister In Laws - Judi & Gerald Belknap of Garden City, Kansas and Jan & Bob Logan of Midland, Michigan. He was preceded in death by his Parents, One Brother and Two Sisters. Private family services will be held at a later date and time. Memorials may be given to the First Christian Church of Scott City % Price & Sons Funeral Home. There will be no calling times.
