Floyd M. Dirks

Floyd M. Dirks, age 88, passed away on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at the Scott County Hospital in Scott City, Kansas.  He was born on July 18, 1930 in Durham, Kansas, the son of Albert & Marie Unruh Dirks.  A resident of Scott City, Kansas since 1942 moving from Hillsboro, Kansas, he was a farmer.

He was a member of the Pence Community Church in Pence, Kansas.

On September 23, 1951 he married Vivian Unruh at the Scott Mennonite Church in Pence, Kansas. She survives.

Survivors Include his Wife - Vivian Dirks of Scott City, Kansas, One Son - Rick & LaNora Dirks of Scott City, Kansas, One Daughter - Rhonda & John Pyles of Claremore, Oklahoma, One Sister - Willetta Payne of Lakin, Kansas, Three Grandsons - Jason & Emma Dirks of Woodward, Oklahoma, Jeremy & Brooke Dirks of Johnston, Iowa, Aaron & Megan Dirks of Scott City, Kansas and Twelve Great Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his Parents, Six Brothers and Four Sisters.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at the Pence Community Church in Pence, Kansas with Jason Dirks & Don Williams presiding.

Interment will be in the Pence Cemetery in Pence, Kansas.

Memorials can be given to the Pence Community Church in care of Price & Sons Funeral Homes.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City, Kansas.
