Everett Hamill

Garden City, Kansas Everett W. "Sonny" Hamill, age 70, died Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at the Homestead Health and Rehabilitation Center in Garden City, Kansas. He was born on October 19, 1940 in Garden City, Kansas the son William and Mable Thelma Gatlin Hamill. He was the owner and operator of Sonny's Truck Repair for several years. He was a member of the Word of Life Church, and Buffalo Campers both of Garden City, Kansas. On February 13, 1959 he married Lavon Stillwell in Garden City, Kansas. She survives. Other Survivors Include: Three Sons,Danny Hamill, Garden City, Kansas, Tim Hamill, Holcomb Kansas, and David Hamill of Garden City, Kansas; Fifteen Grandchildren, and Seventeen Great Grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 am on Monday, October 10, 2011 at the Word of Life Church in Garden City, Kansas. There will be no public calling times. He was preceded in death by his parents, One Son, Randy D. Hamill., and Two Daughters, Sonnie Sue Hamill Roth, and Cheryl Sullivan. Memorials may be given to the Sonny Hamill Memorial Fund in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home of Garden City, Kansas.
