Evelyn J. Curl

Evelyn J. Curl, age 80, died at Homestead Assisted Living in Garden City Kansas on January 1, 2016. She was born on November 10, 1935 the daughter of William Oliver and Pauline Leatherbury Knight. She was a lifetime member of the Garden City community, working as a custodian for USD 457. Survivors include: Three Daughters - Lori Curl of Garden City, Kansas Janell Little of Salina, Kansas Carolyn Rupp of Osborn, Idaho One Son- Jim Curl of Roseville, California Two Brothers- Butrch Knight of Harrington, Kansas Joe Knight od Roseville, California Four Sisters - Sue Knight of Garden City, Kansas Doyleen Barnes of Holcomb, Kansas Peggy White of Arkansas Betty Teague of Arkansas. Seven Grandchildren, and eight Great-Grandchildren. Evelyn is preceded in death by Ralph Curl, her Parents, One Sister, Connie Gibson, One Granddaughter, Melissa Rupp, One Grandson, Austin Taylor Curl, and One Great-Grandson, Dylan Parker. Funeral Services will be held at the First Christian Church of Garden City, Kansas on Thursday January, 7, 2016 at 10:30 A.M. Visitation will be from 3:00 - 8:00 Tuesday and from 10:00 - 8:00 Wednesday at Price and Sons Funeral Home of Garden City, Kansas. Memorials may be made to the Finney County Relay For Life in care of Price and Sons Funeral Home; 620 N. Main St. Garden City, Kansas 67846. Private Family Burial will be held at a later date at Valley View Cemetery.
