Eva Deaver

Garden City, Kansas Eva P. Deaver, age 85, died Saturday, February 18, 2006, at the St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City, Kansas. She was born January 7, 1921 @ Larned, Kansas the daughter of Roy & Mary McClernan Jennings. A resident of Garden City since 1948, moving from Logan County, she was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and VFW Ladies Auxillary, both of Garden City. On January 18, 1947, she married Larry Deaver at Oakley, Kansas. He survives. Other Survivors include: 2 Sons; Mike Deaver and Tim Deaver both of Garden City, Kansas. 1 Daughter; Sue Fansler of Lakin, Kansas. 9 Grandchildren and 13 Great-Grandchildren She was preceded in death by a son â Jim Deaver, 2 Brothers and 4 Sisters Vigil Service will be held at 7:00pm on Wednesday, February 22, 2006 at the St. Mary Catholic Church in Garden City. Memorial Mass will be said at 10:00am on Thursday, February 23, 2006 also at St. Mary Catholic Church in Garden City with Father James E. Baker as Celebrant. Inurnment will be in the Valley View Cemetery in Garden City, Kansas There will be no calling times.
