Eva E. Cooley, age 102, passed away on Monday, November 30, 2009 at the Scott County Hospital in Scott City, Kansas. She was born on November 27, 1907 in Bigelow, Kansas, the daughter of Archie F. and Gertrude E. Bryant Churchill. A resident of Healy, Kansas since 1945 moving from Burdett, Kansas, she was a homemaker and a seamstress and also worked on the farm and ranch.
Memberships include the United Methodist Church in Healy, Kansas and Royal Neighbors of America.
On July 28, 1934 she married Clifford Earl Cooley in Hays, Kansas. He passed away on October 27, 1974 in Scott City, Kansas.
Survivors Include her Three Sons - James F. & Helen Cooley of Healy, Kansas, Lester E. & Janet Cooley of Hamilton, Montana, Archie G. & Peggy Cooley of Healy, Kansas, Twenty Three Grandchildren, Twenty Seven Great Grandchildren, and Fourteen Great Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband and Two Sons - Robert V. Cooley and Randy J. Cooley.
Funeral Services will be held at the United Methodist Church in Healy, Kansas at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 5, 2009 with the Rev. James Brackett officiating.
Interment will be in the Healy Cemetery, Healy, Kansas.
Memorials may be given to the Healy EMT's and Scott County Hospital % Price & Sons Funeral Home.
Visitation will be at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City from 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, and 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Saturday.
