Esther Rhoe

Esther Lois Rhoe, age 98, died Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at the Garden Valley Retirement Village in Garden City, Kansas. She was born May 7, 1915 in Fairview, Kansas the daughter of William T. and Rosabell Farley Herrell. A resident of Garden City, Kansas since 1950, she had been a waitress at Walker's Bar for many years. Survivors include: One Daughter, Lois Harbin of Garden City, Kansas; One Brother, Ralph Herrell of Garden City, Kansas; Two Sisters, Leila Cowles of Garden City, Kansas and Dorothy Fisher of San Jacinto, California. She was preceded in death by her parents, Three Brothers, Pete, Jack & Darrell Herrell and Two Sisters, Minnie Edwards and Cora Jackson. Memorial Services will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, December 27, 2013 @ the Garden Valley Retirement Village Chapel in Garden City, Kansas. Burial will be held in the Valley View Cemetery in Garden City, Kansas. There will be no calling times. Memorials may be given to the Esther Rhoe Memorial Fund in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home of Garden City.
