Esther Toler Gough

Esther Marie (Schwindt - Toler) Gough, age 90, passed away on Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at Wichita County Health Center in Leoti, Kansas. Esther was born May 1, 1922 in Wichita County, Kansas, the daughter of John J. & Katherine Stang Schwindt. A lifetime resident of the Wichita County, Kansas area, she was a homemaker and restaurateur. On March 21, 1922 she married Rufus Gough at Englewood, Colorado. He passed away on July 26, 2006 at Leoti, Kansas. Esther's surviving family includes- One son- Richard Toler- Salina, Kansas One Brother- Hallie Schwindt- Garden City, Kansas Two grandchildren and two great grandchildren Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am Friday, September 28, 2012 at Leoti Cemetery in Leoti, Kansas with the Reverend Bob Everest officiating. There will be no calling times. Memorials may be given to the Wichita County Long Term Care Unit in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home in Leoti, Kansas.
