Elmer Paul Tittel, age 85, passed away at the Scott County Hospital in Scott City, Kansas on Sunday, October 16, 2011. He was born on December 6, 1925 at the family farm in Ness County, Kansas, the son of John Albert and Margaret Dorthea Friebus Tittel. A resident of Scott City, Kansas since 1958 moving from Ness County, Kansas, he was a mechanic until 2008 when he retired. He attended the First Baptist Church in Scott City, Kansas. He married Lillian Etta Kanaga on July 13, 1951 in Ness City, Kansas. She survives. Survivors include his Wife - Lillian Tittel of Scott City, Kansas, Two Daughters - PaulEtta & William LeMaster of Dighton, Kansas, Lila & Charles Sager of Scott City, Kansas, Two Sisters - Hulda Dye of Ness City, Kansas, Emma Jones of Larned, Kansas, Four Grandchildren - Mandy & Aaron Kropp of Scott City, Kansas, Andrea & Jacob Schadel of Ogden, Kansas, Cody Sager & Stephanie Schreiber of Scott City, Kansas, Christopher Sager of Scott City, Kansas and Three Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his Parents, One Brother â Bernhardt Tittel and One Grandson â Steven Dennis Paul Siegrist. Funeral Services will be held at the First Baptist Church in Scott City, Kansas at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, October 20, 2011 with Rev. Kyle Evans presiding. Interment will be in the Scott County Cemetery Scott City, Kansas. Memorials may be given to the Elmer P. Tittel Memorial Fund % Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City, Kansas. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City, Kansas.
