Elliott D. Dickey, age 82, passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at the Scott County Hospital in Scott City, Kansas. He was born on May 27, 1929 in Salina, Kansas, the son of H. Harold and B. Irene Lundstrum Dickey. In 1946 he moved to Healy and graduated from Healy High School Graduate of 1948. He then moved to Memphis, Tennessee in 1968 until 1992 when he moved back to Healy, Kansas. He was a US Air Force Veteran of the Korean Conflict and was a businessman and farmer.
On June 11, 1953 he married Helen Rose Parker in Kansas City. She survives.
Survivors include his Wife - Helen Dickey of Healy, Kansas, Three Daughters - Donna & Gary McLelland of Healy, Kansas, Lisa & Rick Davis of Memphis, Tennessee, Rita & Scott Burch of Atlanta, Georgia, Two Brothers - Harold & Ruby Dickey of Dallas, Texas, Keith Dickey of Healy, Kansas, One Brother in Law - Don Parker of Conception Junction, Missouri, Six Grandchildren and Eight Great Grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, One Infant Brother - Donald Lee Dickey.
Memorial Services will be held at the United Methodist Church in Healy, Kansas at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 25, 2012 with the Rev. James Brackett presiding.
Memorials may be given to the CASA or Alzheimer's Association % Price & Sons Funeral Home.
Inurnment will be in the Healy Cemetery in Healy, Kansas.
