Ellen Scott

Ellen Nancy Scott, age 86, passed away Saturday, May 24, 2008 at the Scott County Hospital in Scott City, Kansas. She was born on October 19, 1921 in Winona, Kansas, the daughter of Robert James and Mary Sellers Nolind. A resident of Scott City, Kansas since 1940 moving from Winona, Kansas, she was a homemaker. Memberships include the First Baptist Church of Scott City, Kansas On June 13, 1942 she married Donald Claude Scott in Garden City, Kansas. He passed away on March 20, 1988 in Scott City, Kansas. Survivors Include Three Daughters - Nancy Scott of Haysville, Kansas, Jane Barnes of Elkhart, Kansas, and Shirley Koehn of Tribune, Kansas, One Sister - Roberta Williams of Stockbridge, Georgia, One Brother in Law - Bruce Scott of Scott City, Kansas, Eleven Grandchildren, Eleven Great Grandchildren, and Three Great Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, One Son â Lee Roy Scott, Two Brothers â Willis & Edwin Luther, and One Sister - Fern. Funeral Services will be held at the First Baptist Church in Scott City, Kansas at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 29, 2008 with the Rev. Kyle Evans presiding. Interment will be held in the Scott County Cemetery in Scott City, Kansas. Memorials may be given to the Ellen Scott Memorial Fund% Price & Sons Funeral Home. Visitation will be held ay Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, and 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Thursday.
