Ellen A. Leverett, age 52, passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice Center At Via Christi St Francis Campus in Wichita, Kansas. She was born on February 7, 1959 in Mott, North Dakota, the daughter of Billy Lewis and Edith Darlyne Eberhardt Brown. A resident of Modoc, Kansas since 1970 moving from Garden City, Kansas, she was a homemaker.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Scott City, Kansas. Ellen was also known for her cooking. She cooked for Camp Christy, First Baptist Church and the Scott City Lions Club.
On April 6, 1982 she married Gearold Leverett in Eads, Colorado. He survives.

She was preceded in death by her Grandparents â George Lamon & Wilbur & Iceal Brown.
Funeral Services will be held at the First Baptist Church in Scott City, Kansas at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 12, 2011 with the Rev. Kyle Evans presiding.
Interment will be in the Modoc Cemetery in Modoc, Kansas.
Memorials in Lieu of flowers may be given to Camp Christy % of Price & Son Funeral Home in Scott City, Kansas.
Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott CIty, Kansas.
