Elizabeth Cook

Tribune, Kansas Elizabeth Marie ( Betty ) Cook, age 79, passed away on Monday, June 22, 2009 at her home in Tribune, Kansas. Betty was born July 13. 1929 at Wellington, Kansas the daughter of Roy Zimmerman & Fern Jefferies Zimmerman. She had been a Greeley County resident for over 40 years; she was also a long time resident of Grand Junction, Colorado. She was a homemaker and enjoyed her years as an active volunteer teacher for special needs children at Tope Elementary School in Grand Junction. She was very proud of her family and loved them all very dearly. Betty was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Tribune, Kansas as well as the afternoon coffee club and AARP. Betty's surviving family includes- One son and his wife Dr. Robert & Rebecca Brunswig, Jr.- Greeley, Colorado Grandchildren- Cherie Millirons- Bixby, Oklahoma Jon Bjorklund- Tribune, Kansas Michael Brunswig- Greeley, Colorado Andrew Brunswig- Denver, Colorado Great Grandchildren- Sasha, Brady, Naava, Levi, Kyler, Bryson and Jillian. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and a daughter, Susan Bjorklund. Memorial services will be held 10:30 a.m. (M.D.T.), July 16, 2009 at First Presbyterian Church in Tribune, Kansas with Reverend Charles Ayers officiating. There will be no calling times. Memorials may be given to Victims Assistance Program of Colorado in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home in Tribune, Kansas.
