Doris Mae Strickert, age 94, passed away on Thursday, September 27, 2007 at the Lake Point Nursing Home in Wichita, Kansas. She was born on August 1, 1913 in Gridley, Kansas, the daughter of Alfred Elroy and Nellie Maude Schlink Darland. A lifetime resident of Scott City, Kansas until she moved to Wichita, Kansas in 2000. She was a School Teacher and a cook. Membership: First Christian Church Scott City, Kansas Rebekah Lodge Scott City, Kansas On December 21, 1938 she married Clarence J. Strickert. He passed away on September 22, 1977 in Scott City, Kansas.
