Doris Johnson

Garden City, Kansas Doris Ann Johnson, age 83, died Sunday, October 2, 2011 at the Kansas Heart Hospital in Wichita, Kansas. She was born July 6, 1928 in Elsmore, Kansas the daughter of Walter and Edna Danielson. She was a homemaker and had been a resident of Garden City since the early 1950's. In November of 1948 she married Harry J. Johnson in Garden City, Kansas. He died in August of 2004 in Garden City, Kansas. Survivors Include: Two Daughters Cheryl Johnson of Aurora, Colorado and Karen Dyer of Holcomb, Kansas; Two Sons, Charles Kent Johnson of Hooker, Oklahoma and Larry Johnson of Holcomb, Kansas; Two Sisters, Kathryn Pitts of Tatum, New Mexico and Dorothy Smith of Ashland, Kansas; Eight Grandchildren and Fifteen Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by Two Daughters, Linda Farmer and Lisa William and One Brother, Dewey Danielson. Memorial Services will be held at 10:30am, Friday, October 7, 2011 at the Fellowship Baptist Church in Garden City, Kansas. There will be no calling times at the funeral home. Interment will be held at the Valley View Cemetery in Garden City, Kansas. Memorials may be given to the Friends of the Lee Richardson Zoo in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home of Garden City.
