Doris Jean Hutchison

Doris Jean Hutchison, age 91, passed away on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at Somerlen Glen in Centennial, Colorado. Doris Jean was born April 19, 1928 in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of Leonard M. & Inez Virginia Ocheltree Gilman. A resident of Colorado since 1986 moving from Leoti, Kansas, she was a homemaker. Doris Jean held membership in the United Methodist Church in Leoti, Kansas. On December 26, 1949 she married Lloyd Henry Hutchison at the Old Mission Methodist Church in Fairway, Kansas. Lloyd passed away on June 6, 2014 in Centennial, Colorado. Lloyd and Doris had a son, Lloyd Gilman Hutchison, who as a professional musician took the name Matthew G. O’Brien. He passed on August 23, 2003 in Waldport, Oregon. Doris will be laid to rest between her two Lloyds at graveside services that will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, March 7, 2020 at Scott County Cemetery in Scott City, Kansas with Pastor Steve Paine officiating.
