Donna S. Eitel, age 86, passed away on Monday, January 29, 2024, at the Lane County Hospital in Dighton, Kansas. She was born on January 13, 1938, in Greensburg, Kansas, the daughter of Frederick Earl & Beulah Elizabeth Russell Heinze. A resident of Scott City, Kansas since 1959 moving from Greensburg, Kansas, she was a homemaker, farmer’s wife, avid gardener, and a very loving and involved mother.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Methodist Church Choir, and High Plains Study Club both of Scott City, Kansas.
Donna attended Fort Hays State University where she met Robert D. Eitel of Grigston, KS. On August 30, 1959, she married Robert in Greensburg, KS. He survives.
Survivors include her Husband - Robert D. Eitel of Scott City, Kansas, Two Daughters - Kay Harkness of Scott City, Kansas, Pam & Scott Burgett of Overland Park, Kansas, Three Grandsons - Kyle Berend of Scott City, Kansas, Luke Burgett of Denver, Colorado, Troy Burgett of Chicago, Illinois, Three Step Grandchildren and Seven Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by Her Parents and Two Sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, February 3, 2024, at the United Methodist Church in Scott City, Kansas with Rev. Jeff Goetzinger & Rev. Dennis Carter.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday at Price & Sons Funeral Home, 401 S. Washington St., Scott City, Kansas, 67871.
Interment will be held in the Scott County Cemetery in Scott City, Kansas.
