Donald D. Robinson, age 78, died on Friday, March 28, 2014 at his home in Garden City, Kansas. He was born on July 1, 1935 in Olsburg, Kansas the son of Artie & June McCullough Robinson. A resident of Garden City since 1963, he was a self employed carpenter and a district management salesman for Guys Food for 20 years, then drove his own truck for Huber Sand Company, retiring in the late 1990's.
He served as Military Police with the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict, and was a member of the American Legion. Donald enjoyed fishing, hunting, woodworking, Country Western music and spending time with his family.
On July 23, 1958, he married Loretta Faye Wilson in Canadian, Texas. She survives.

One Son, Rod Robinson of Garden City, Kansas;
One Daughter, Karleen Huber of Garden City, Kansas;
Two Sisters, Delores Angel of Loveland, Colorado and
Pat Burch of Sublette, Kansas;
Six Grandchildren, Fourteen Great-Grandchildren and One Great-Great-Grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Wayne Robinson.
Memorial Service will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, April 4, 2014 at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Garden City, KS.
Military Honors will be held following services at the Bell Tower in the Valley View Cemetery in Garden City, KS.
There will be no public visitation.
