Donald Jefferson

Donald C. Jefferson, age 81, died on Monday, April 8, 2013 at the St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City, Kansas. He was born on April 11, 1931 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, the son of Cecil D. and Robbie McDonald Jefferson. A resident of Garden City since 1965, he had been a cattle buyer. On April 7, 1951, he married Virginia Lee Overly in Denver, Colorado. She died Nov. 15, 2012 in Garden City, Kansas. Survivors Include: One Son, Scott D. Jefferson of Holcomb, Kansas, One Daughter, Karen Jefferson Page of Belen, New Mexico; 3 Grandchildren and 4 Great-Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and a son, Donald William Jefferson. Services will be held at a later date in Iowa. Memorials may be given to St. Jude's Children's Hospital in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home. There is no visitation at the funeral home.
