Donald Clark Harbert, age 85, died on Monday, January 23, 2012 at the St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City, Kansas. He was born on December 24, 1926 in Lovell, Wyoming the son of Theodore Lowe and Noma Edna Clark Harbert. He was known for being a friend to all, never knowing a stranger and always having a smile on his face. Donald was a WWII U.S. Navy veteran and had been a resident of Garden City, Kansas since 2003. He was a retired Catepillar Service Man and was a past owner of the Gambles store in Cody, Wyoming.
On April 18, 1951 he married Mable Ruth Hobbs in Powell, Wyoming. She died on December 27, 1996.
Survivors Include: Two Daughters, Katherine Heaton of Garden City, Kansas and Donna K. Osbon of Garden City, Kansas; Five Grandchildren and Six Great-Grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Eileen Sessions and Virginia Godfrey.
Funeral Services and Burial will be held in Wyoming.
There will be no local calling times at the funeral home.
