Donald Leroy Denton, age 72, died Monday, May 28, 2012 at his home in Garden City, Kansas. He was born on December 16, 1939 in Cimarron, Kansas the son of Cecil & Wilma Gertrude Imel Denton. Donald had worked as a well operator for Minter Wilson Drilling.
On February 11, 1961, he married Glenda Lee in Garden City, Kansas. She passed away on May 29, 2009 in Garden City, Kansas. He was also preceded in death by his father, a son, Kurt Denton, and two sisters.

One Daughter, Dawn Torres of Garden City, Kansas;
His Mother, Wilma Gertrude Culver of Cimarron, Kansas;

Vernon Denton of Ingalls, Kansas,
Jack Denton of Dodge City, Kansas,
Clovis Denton of Garden City, Kansas,
Ronnie Denton of Carthage, Missouri,
Bob Denton of Liberal, Kansas, and
Butch Denton of Carthage, Missouri;
One Sister, Darla Kopper of Dodge City, Kansas; and
Three Grandchildren.
Graveside Services will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, June 1, 2012 at the Lakin Cemetery in Lakin, Kansas. Funeral procession will begin at 10:00am at the funeral home.
Friends may call from 1:00pm-8:00pm on Thursday and 9:00-10:00am Friday @ Price & Sons Funeral Home in Garden City, Kansas.
