Donald Bremer

Donald W. Bremer, age 72, passed away Monday, May 10, 2010 at the Wichita County Health Center in Leoti, Kansas. He was born on February 1, 1938 in Florence, Missouri, the son of Omer Franklin and Anna Carver Bremer. He was a resident of Leoti from 1971 till 1986 when he moved to Elkhart, Kansas. In 2004 he moved to Meade, Kansas and then back to Leoti in 2009. He was an avid KU Athletic Fan, enjoyed bowling, and golfing. He was a butcher. Memberships include the Christ Covenant Church in Leoti, Kansas. On November 9, 1971 he married Vicki Lynn Shearmire in Scott City, Kansas and later divorced. Survivors Include his Two Sons - Ron & Chrissy Bremer of Hutchinson, Kansas and children Kyle, Dustin, Dillon, Katherine, Alyssa, Brayton, & Addison. Marti & Brenda Bremer of Holcomb, Kansas and children Justin & Kyle of Holcomb, Kansas, One Daughter - Mindi Bremer of Leoti, Kansas and children Trae & Tailar of Leoti, Kansas, One Brother - Ernie Wood of Enid, Oklahoma, Two Sisters - Debbie Werner of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Sharon Self of Odessa, Texas and previous Wife - Vicki Bremer of Scott City, Kansas. He was preceded in death by his Parents & Two Sisters â Erma Johnson & Waunita Beamer. Memorial Services will be held at the Christ Covenant Church in Leoti, Kansas at 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 14, 2010 with the Rev. Bob Everest presiding. Inurnment will be in the Leoti Cemetery in Leoti, Kansas. Memorials may be given to the Christ Covenant Church % Price & Sons Funeral Home. There will be no visitation time.
