Dixie L. Neuenschwander, age 79, passed away on Monday, March 31, 2014 at the Scott County Hospital in Scott City, Kansas. She was born on November 9, 1934 in Durham, Kansas, the daughter of Adam & Elsie Ollenburger Miller. A resident of Scott City, Kansas since 1946 moving from Anaheim, California, she along with her husband Robert, were the owners and operators of Robert's Jewelers in Scott City, Kansas for over 42 years.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Scott City, Kansas. She also belonged to Kansas Jewelers Association, American Gemologist Association, Scott County Garden Club, El Quartelejo Study Club,American Association of Iris Growers, American Association of Day Lily Growers and was a past director of the BYF at the First Baptist Church in Scott City, Kansas.
On July 15, 1979 she married Robert C. Neuenschwander in Wichita, Kansas. He passed away on February 25, 2009 in Scott City, Kansas.
Survivors Include her One Daughter - Brenda Cejda of Scott City, Kansas, One Son - Brent & Jennifer Cejda of Lincoln, Nebraska, One Step Daughter - Linda Neuenschwander of Aurora, Colorado, Two Sister in Laws - Thelma Miller of Scott City, Kansas, Jane Miller of Hillsboro, Kansas, Three Grandchildren and Six Nieces & Nephews.
She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, and Two Brothers.
A Private Family Funeral Service was held on Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City, Kansas with the Rev. Dennis Carter presiding.
Memorials may be given to the Park Lane Nursing Home % Price & Sons Funeral Home.
Interment is in the Scott County Cemetery in Scott City, Kansas.
