Delmar D. Post, age 80, passed away on Monday, February 10, 2020 at the Western Plains Medical Complex in Dodge City, Kansas. He was born on March 7, 1939 in Osborne, Kansas, the son of James O. & Lenna Gregory Post. Delmar was a resident of Scott City, Kansas since 1964. He ran the Deep Rock Service Station in Scott City for many years and then worked for Ashley Luke for 28 1/2 years.
He was a US Army Veteran serving from 1961 until 1963 and was a member of the VFW.
Survivors include his Son - Doug & Donna Post of Anderson, South Carolina, Three Brothers - Doyle Post of Plainville, Kansas, Edson Post of Bel Aire, Kansas, Charles Post of Concordia, Kansas, Two Grandsons - Brian Post and Joshua Post of Anderson, South Carolina and numerous Nieces & Nephews.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, Three Brothers - Ronald Post, James Post, Emery Post and One Sister - Vola Collins.
Memorial Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at 10:00 a.m at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City, Kansas with Ron Post presiding.
Private Family Inurnment will be in the Plainville Cemetery in Plainville, Kansas.
Memorials In Lieu of Flowers can be made to the Fort Dodge Soldiers Home or Scott County Hospital Rehab Unit in care of Price and Sons Funeral Home.
