Darlene Becker

Darlene D. Becker, age 72, passed away on Thursday, February 22, 2007 at the Kansas Heart Hospital in Wichita, Kansas. She was born on November 10, 1934 in Beroun, Minnesota, the daughter of Fredrick and Elizabeth Youngbauer Pulkrabek. A resident of Garden City and Holcomb since 1948 moving from Minnesota, she was a homemaker. She was a member of the Christian Faith. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, baking, watching football and especially Nascar races on the television. On November 4, 1950, she married Alfred L. Becker Jr. in Garden City, Kansas. He survives. Other Survivors Include: Three Sons: Darris L. Becker of Garden City, Kansas, Terry L. Becker of Holcomb, Kansas and Randy D. Becker of Garden City, Kansas, Two Daughters: Rhonda J. Conley of Holcomb, Kansas and Shellie Morehouse of Scott City, Kansas, Two Brothers: Bruce Pulkrabek of Des Moines, Iowa and Dale Pulkrabek of Salina, Kansas, Three Sisters: Carol Gindlesberger of Branson, Missouri, Janet Naab of Liberal, Kansas and Pat Baier of Brighton, Colorado, Eight Grandchildren and Seven Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Parents and One Brother â Robert Pulkrabek. Funeral Services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, February 26, 2007 at the Price & Sons Funeral Home in Garden City, Kansas with the Rev. Randy Caddell presiding. Inurnment will take place at a later date. There will be no public calling times. The family requests memorials be given to the Darlene D. Becker Memorial Fund in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home of Garden City.
