Daniel Rojas

Daniel P. "Danny" Rojas, age 60, died Friday, July 12, 2013 at his home in Holcomb, Kansas. He was born July 8, 1953 in Garden City, Kansas the son of Bartolo and Mary Delgado Rojas. A lifetime Finney County resident, he was known throughout the area for various jobs, including Oswalt Industries, Palmer Manufacturing, Federal Express, owner and operator of D.R. Computers and most recently, an informational technician for Finney County. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the Knights of Columbus, both of Garden City. On January 31, 2011 he married Kelly Janda in Garden City, KS. She survives. Other Survivors Include: A Son, Daniel P. "Dube" (& Sophie) of Kansas City, Missouri; A Daughter, Dana Rojas of Colorado Springs, Colorado; A Grandson, Paxton Rojas of Kansas City, Missouri; Two Step-Sons, Johnny & Andrew Janda, both of Holcomb, Kansas; A Step-Daughter, Stephanie Janda of Holcomb, Kansas; His Parents, Bart & Mary Rojas of Garden City, Kansas; A Brother, Gilbert "Bo" Rojas of Garden City, Kansas; and Three Sisters, Rosie Beltran of Garden City, Kansas, Brenda Villa of Garden City, Kansas and Oletha Cox of Garden City, Kansas. He was preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Rojas; two sisters, Gloria Perez & Susie Garcia; and three nephews, Gilbert Rojas, Jr., Dirk Cox & Timothy Cox. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00am on Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at the First United Methodist Church in Garden City, Kansas. Inurnment will be held in the Valley View Cemetery in Garden City, Kansas. There will be no public visitation. Memorials may be given to the Daniel Rojas Memorial Fund in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home.
