Corinne Krebs, age 90, passed away on Sunday, May 11, 2014 at the Scott County Hospital in Scott City, Kansas. She was born on October 31, 1923 in Scott City, Kansas, the daughter of Ray & Mabel Garvin Whitham. A lifetime resident of Scott City, Kansas, she was a homemaker and a teacher.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and UMW in Scott City, Kansas. She was also a member of the Kolorful Kansas Art Association.
On October 14, 1945 she married Floyd Krebs in Scott City, Kansas. He passed away on April 4, 1999 in Scott City, Kansas.
Survivors include her Two Daughters - Debra Dallas of Denver, Colorado, Dianne & Owen Unruh of Scott City, Kansas, One Brother - Charles Whitham of Leoti, Kansas, One Grandson - Bart Carr of Denver, Colorado, Four Granddaughters - Stephanie Unruh of Scott City, Kansas, Alison Kochenberger of Pueblo, Colorado, Stacey Zuleta of Fort Myers, Florida, Christi Barnett of Colby, Kansas and Eight Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, One Son - Dwight Krebs and Two Brothers - Bruce Whitham and Frank Whitham.
Funeral Services will be held at the First United Methodist Church in Scott City, Kansas at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 14, 2014 with the Rev. Dennis Carter presiding.
Memorials may be given to the First United Methodist Church or Scott County EMT's % Price & Sons Funeral Homes.
Interment will be in the Scott County Cemetery in Scott City, Kansas.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City, Kansas.
