Cheryl Jean Moshier, age 56, died Monday, November 26, 2007 near Blanchard, Oklahoma due to injuries sustained in a vehicle accident. She was born on December 2, 1951 in Garden City, Kansas the daughter of William Dale & Cleota Joy Davis Moshier. A Garden City resident since 1985, having lived previously in the states of Wyoming, Illinois, Hawaii & Texas, she was a custodian at the Garden City Community College for over 20 years and manager for the Apple City Apartments.
She was a member of the Second Baptist Church of Garden City and the Womens Prayer Study Group.
She was a US Navy veteran stationed in Hawaii.
Survivors Include a Son, Chris Moshier of Salina, Kansas;her Father, William Moshier of Las Vegas, Nevada; a Brother, Ken Moshier of Roscoe, Illinois; Two Sisters, Kathy McVey of San Antonio, Texas and Eva Moshier of San Antonio, Texas; Several Aunts, Uncles, Nephews & Nieces
She was preceded in death by her mother, Cleo Gibbons.
Memorial Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 1, 2007 at the Garden City Community College Pauline Joyce Fine Arts Auditorium in Garden City, Kansas with Pastors Lavert Owens and Lenoir Randle presiding.
There will be no calling times.
In Lieu of Flowers, the family requests memorials be given to the Cheryl Moshier Memorial Fund in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home of Garden City.
