Charles Rector

Garden City, Kansas Charles B. "CB" Rector, age 93, died Friday, February 1, 2008 at the St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City, Kansas. He was born on March 19, 1914 in Cuba, Illinois, the son of B.N. and Daisy D. Lundry Rector. He was a liftime area resident and had been a well driller for Henkle Drilling Company for 26 years before retiring. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Garden City, Kansas. On October 31, 1933 he married Nellie Crow @ Lamar, Colorado. She died November 1, 2006 in Garden City, Kansas. Survivors Include: One Niece, Marcelle Clark of Leoti, Kansas; One Nephew, Charles Crow of Coldwell, Kansas and Several Great Nephews and Nieces. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00pm on Monday, February 4, 2008 at the Price & Sons Funeral Home in Garden City, Kansas with Rev. David Bell presiding. Interment will be held in the Valley View Cemetery in Garden City, Kansas. Friends may call from 1:00pm-8:00pm Sunday and from 10:00am until service time Monday at the Price & Sons Funeral Home in Garden City, Kansas The family requests memorials be given to the CB Rector Memorial Fund and may be delivered to Price & Sons Funeral Home of Garden City, Kansas.
