Charles Morgan

Charles M. Morgan, age 81, passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2013 at his home in Shallow Water, Kansas. He was born on March 17, 1932 in Pierce City, Missouri, the son of Fred Franklin & Gertrude Young Morgan. A longtime resident of Scott County, Kansas moving from Garden City, Kansas, he was a retired mechanic working for both Fairleigh Feedyards and Crist Feedyard. In February of 1953 he married Dorothy Foglesong in Garden City, Kansas. In 1962 he married Donna Brown in Garden City, Kansas. Survivors include his Three Sons - Charles Michael Morgan of Garden City, Kansas, James Morgan of Garden City, Kansas, Kenneth Morgan of Garden City, Kansas, Seven Daughters - Debra Morgan of Lakin, Kansas, Rebecca Morgan of Garden City, Kansas, Laura Campbell of Coldwater, Kansas, Gail Cathcart of Garden City, Kansas, Amy Bennett of North Platte, Nebraska, Lisa Morgan of Texhoma, Texas, Heather Morgan of McPherson, Kansas, Three Brothers - Donald Morgan of Vancouver, Washington, Ronald Morgan of Healy, Kansas, Glenn Morgan of Vancouver, Washington, Longtime Companion - Sharlleen Swisher of Lamar, Colorado, Twenty Three Grandchildren and Thirty One Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Two Brothers and Three Sisters. Funeral Services will be held at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City, Kansas at 10:30 a.m. Friday, November 1, 2013 with Rev. Robert Nuckolls presiding. Memorials amy be given to the Charles Morgan Memorial Fund % Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City, Kansas. Interment will be in the Scott County Cemetery in Scott City, Kansas. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday @ Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City, Kansas.
