CHARLES (CHUCK) WILLIAM GISH, AGE 77, PASSED AWAY ON THURSDAY, APRIL 24, 2008 AT WICHITA COUNTY MEDICAL CENTER IN LEOTI, KANSAS. HE WAS BORN MAY 15, 1930 AT CALHAN, COLORADO, THE SON OF GEORGE A. & FERN E. HUNTSMAN GISH. HE HAD BEEN AT LEOTI RESIDENT SINCE 1971 MOVING FROM COLORADO SPRINGS, COLORADO. HE WAS A LABORER FOR HI- PLAINS FEEDYARD, FARMCO AT SELKIRK, KANSAS AND FOR RICHIE ROAD CONSTRUCTION. HE WAS A U.S. ARMY VETERAN OF THE KOREAN CONFLICT. MEMBERSHIPS INCLUDE- UNITED METHODIST CHURCH- LEOTI, KANSAS V.F.W.- LEOTI, KANSAS MOTO GUZZI MOTORCYCLE CLUB ON NOVEMBER 8, 1975 HE MARRIED PEGGY ANN CLARK AT LEOTI, KANSAS. SHE SURVIVES. BURIAL WILL BE IN LEOTI CEMETERY WITH MILITARY HONORS PROVIDED BY THE LEOTI V.F.W. FRIENDS MAY CALL FROM 11:00 A.M. TO 8:00 P.M. MONDAY AND FROM 10:00 TO 11:00 A.M. TUESDAY AT PRICE & SONS FUNERAL HOME IN LEOTI, KANSAS. MEMORIALS MAY BE GIVE TO THE CHUCK GISH MEMORIAL FUND IN CARE OF THE FUNERAL HOME.
