Charles W. Duff, age 86, passed away on Sunday, February 10, 2008 at his home in Scott City, Kansas. He was born on December 3, 1921 in Dexter, Kansas, the son of George Lester and Hazel Meree Steiner Duff. A resident of Scott County, Kansas since 1931 moving from Cowley County, Kansas, he was a Farmer, Stockman and Owner and Operator of Beef Belt Feeders. Charles was a US Army Signal Corp Veteran of World War II. Memberships include the Gospel Fellowship Church of Shallow Water, Kansas. On May 2, 1942 he married Kathryn E. Stark in Scott City, Kansas. She passed away on April 23, 2006 in Scott City, Kansas. On September 30, 2006 he married Beth Lamb at the Lamb Ranch in Logan County, Kansas. She survives. Survivors Include: His wife - Beth Duff of Scott City, Kansas, Three Sons - David & Valarie Duff, Craig & Mickey Duff, and Richard & Susan Duff all of Scott City, Kansas, One Daughter - Deva & Ed Cupp of Scott City, Kansas, One Brother - Donald & Lucille Duff of Thayer, Kansas, and Two Sisters In Law - Molly & Duane Williams of Modoc, Kansas and Carole Stark of Scott City, Kansas. Twelve Grandchildren and Fourteen Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Wife - Kathryn, Two Sisters â Arlista Grube and Audrey Young, One Grandson â Daryl Duff, and Two Great Grandsons â Caleb Cupp and James Cupp. Funeral Services will be held at the Shallow Water School in Shallow Water, Kansas at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 15, 2008 with Larry Taylor officiating. Interment will be in the Scott County Cemetery in Scott City, Kansas. Memorials may be given to the Scott Community Foundation for The Charles & Kathryn Duff Scholarship Fund % Price & Sons Funeral Home. Visitation will be at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday and 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. on Friday.
