Carolyn M. Johnson, age 48, passed away on Thursday, October 8, 2009 at the Scott County Hospital in Scott City, Kansas. She was born on October 11, 1960 in Scott City, Kansas, the daughter of Van L. and Lois Bullard Buckner. A lifetime resident of Scott City, Kansas, she was a Certified Nurses Assistant at Park Lane Nursing Home and the Scott City Clinic. Her memberships include the Gospel Fellowship Church in Shallow Water, Kansas. Survivors include her Four Sons - Brian Johnson of Scott City, Kansas, Brandon & Kelcee Johnson of Scott City, Kansas, Bradley Johnson of Scott City, Kansas, Bryce Johnson of Scott City, Kansas; Three Daughters - Missina & Tony Sharp of Joplin, Missouri, Lacey Johnson of Scott City, Kansas, Jordan Johnson of Joplin, Missouri; Parents - Van L. & Lois Buckner of Scott City, Kansas; One Brother - Van A. Buckner of Scott City, Kansas; One Sister - Vickie Keller of Garden City, Kansas; Three Grandchildren - Gage Johnson of Scott City, Kansas, Vivian Sharp of Joplin, Missouri, Haidyn Sharp of Joplin, Missouri and Numerous Nieces & Nephews. She was preceded in death by One Sister â Susan Buckner Heim. Funeral Service will be at the First Baptist Church in Scott City, Kansas at 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 12, 2009 with Don Williams presiding. Interment will be in the Scott County Cemetery in Scott City, Kansas. In Lieu of Flowers memorials may be given to the Carolyn M. Johnson Memorial Fund % Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Saturday, 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday and 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Monday at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City, Kansas.
