Carol Kenaston

Garden City, Kansas Carol Jean Kenaston, age 79, died Sunday, January 29, 2006, at the Garden Valley Retirement Village in Garden City, Kansas. She was born August 2, 1926 @ Cincinnati, Ohio the daughter of Benjamin R. and Irene Pearl Smith Hill. A former resident of Hyattsville, Maryland, Inverness, Florida and Springfield, Massachusetts moving to Garden City in September of 2005, she was a retired Activities Director for a Long Term Care Facility. She was a devoted member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. On August 12, 1946, she married Jack Burrows Fisher in Cincinnati, Ohio. He died in March of 1960 @ Cincinnati, Ohio. In June of 1962, she married Eugene Francis Kenaston @ Takoma Park, Maryland. He died in February of 2001 @ Inverness, Florida. Survivors include: 2 Daughters, Beverly Catanese of Garden City, Kansas and Judi Keener of LeGrange, Georgia: 1 Step-Daughter, Janice LeBrun of Raymond, New Hampshire: 1 Brother, Vernon Hill of Shelby, Ohio: 12 Grandchildren, 6 Great-Grandchildren and 1 Great-Great-Grandchild She was preceded in death by a daughter â Sharon Marie Wilson and a son â Johnny Fisher Memorial Services will be held on Sunday, Feb. 26, 2006 in Maryland. Inurnment will be held at the Parklawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Rockville, Maryland There will be no calling times.
