Carl Drumeller

Carl Lee Drumeller, age 87, died on March 10, 2016 at the Homestead Assisted Living in Garden City, Kansas. He was born on November 29, 1928 in Colorado Spring, Colorado the son of Clarence Leroy and Lydia A. Shoemaker Drumeller. In 1947 he married Catherine Marie Smith in Altoona, Pennsylvania, she preceded him in death in 1989. In 1992 he married Patricia Ann Curren in Sioux City, Iowa, she preceded him in death in 2008. He worked for serval meat packing plants throughout his life starting with Hormel Meats, after leaving Hormel he became Vice President of Smithfield Meats. Most recently he worked for Tyson setting up pork by product processing plants until he retired when he was 80 years old. Carl served his country as a member of the United States Navy. He was also a member of the Catholic faith. Survivors include: One Sister Barbara Booker of Garden City, Kansas One Nephew Scott Booker of Garden City, Kansas Carl is preceded in death by his parents and wives. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. at Price and Sons Funeral Home of Garden City, Kansas.Inurnment will take place at a later date in the Alto-Reste Cemetery in Altoona, Pennsylvania.
