Scott City, Kansas Brett Kale Todd, age 25, passed away on Thursday, August 11, 2011 at Presbyterian/St. Luke Hospital in Denver, Colorado. Brett was born February 26, 1986 in Leoti, Kansas, the son of Michael Allen ( Mike ) & Norma Karlene ( Kay ) Simons Todd. A lifetime resident of Scott City, Kansas, he was an automotive parts man. Brett was a member of the Gospel Fellowship Church in Shallow Water, Kansas. He was a "Gear Head " and was avidly involved in demolition derby, hunting, fishing, family, friends and life. Brett is survived by His parents- Mike & Kay Todd- Scott City, Kansas Two brothers and their wives- Ryan & Shannon Todd- Gainsville, Florida Jeff & Jessica Gilmore- Burlington, Kansas A sister and her fiancé- Chastel Todd and Eric Vallerand- Gainsville, Florida A niece- Kambrea Gilmore- Burlington, Kansas A girlfriend- Justina Harms- Scott City, Kansas Two grandmothers- Mary Todd- Leoti, Kansas Norma Heiney- Scott City, Kansas An aunt- Carlisa Davis- Scott City, Kansas Two cousins- Amanda Gerstberger- Leoti, Kansas Cassandra Boyd- Garden City, Kansas Two beloved dogs- Daisy & Turbo And numerous friends Brett was preceded in death by three grandfathers- Harold Todd, Carl Simons and Jim Heiney. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am Tuesday, August 16, 2011 at the First Baptist Church in Scott City, Kansas with Larry Taylor officiating. Burial will be in Scott County Cemetery in Scott City, Kansas. The family requests that all dress casually. Friends may call from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm Sunday and from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm Monday at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City, Kansas. Memorials may be given to the Brett K.
