Billy Dwayne Husband

Billy Dwayne Husband, age 84, died on May 2, 2017 in Kingwood, Texas.  He was born on June 12, 1932 in Garden City, Kansas the son of John Frederick and Minnie Marie Bates Husband.

On January 1, 1955 he married Phyllis Ann Porter in Las Vegas, New Mexico.  She passed away on July 24, 2014 in New Caney, Texas.

He was a member of the Methodist faith.  Billy proudly served his country in the Korean War.

    Three Sons            Billy Dale and Jo Husband of Navasota, Texas

                    Marty Husband of Hockley, Texas

                    Fred and Ann Husband of New Caney, Texas

    Three Daughters        Trudy and Jim Shelburn of Benton, Kentucky

                    Debby Jo O’Connor and Jay Muenzler of Spring, Texas

                    Mary Lou Anderson of Kingwood, Texas

    Two Sisters            Claudette Beavers of Pierceville, Kansas

                    Thelma Wells of Goddard, Kansas

    Fifteen grandchildren and Twelve great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by: his parents, wife, two brothers, James F. Husband and C.E. Husband, and four sisters, Mary B. Hutton, M. Pearl McDonald, Betty VanBuskirk and Melvina F. Reith.

Graveside services will be held at the Pierceville Cemetery in Pierceville, Kansas on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at 10:00 am.

The family will receive friends on Friday, May 12, 2017 from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the Price & Sons Funeral Home of Garden City.
