Betty J. Scheuerman

Betty J. Scheuerman, age 98, passed away on Monday, February 3, 2025, at the Scott County Hospital in Scott City, Kansas. She was born on April 22, 1926, in Grigston, Kansas, the daughter of Lester & Frieda Elliot See. She was a farmer's wife and a lifetime resident of Scott County, Kansas.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Scott City, Kansas where she served as Church Treasurer, Funeral Dinners Chairman, Deaconesses, Sunday School Teacher, Mary Martha Circle, and ABW. Her memberships include the Manning Jayhawkers 4-H, Community Leader, Project Leader, Manning Bridge Group, Tuesday Afternoon Bridge Group, and Better Homes EHU.

On December 15, 1946, she married Clifford H. Scheuerman in Scott County, Kansas. He passed away on October 21, 1998, in Scott City, Kansas.

Survivors include her Two Sons - Mike & Deb Scheuerman of Healy, Kansas, Randy & Cindy Scheuerman of Scott City, Kansas, One Daughter - Kathy & Bob Zweifel of Waldo, Kansas, One Sister - Joan McPherson of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, One Sister In Law - Tava See of Scott City, Kansas, Ten Grandchildren, and Twenty-Eight Great Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, One Brother - Bill See, and Two Sisters - Normalee Wasinger, and Patty See.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, February 22, 2025, at the First Baptist Church in Scott City, Kansas with Rev. Kyle Evans presiding.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the First Baptist Church or Camp Christy in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home, PO Box 552, Scott City, Kansas, 67871.

Interment will be in the Scott County Cemetery. 

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, February 20, 2025, and 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, February 21, 2025, at Price & Sons Funeral Home, 401 S. Washington St., Scott City, Kansas, 67871.
