Betty Jean Bussart, age 83, passed away on Monday, July 23, 2012 at the Park Lane Nursing Home in Scott City, Kansas. She was born on November 20, 1928 in Westmorland, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Curtis & Zelma Leona Dickson Steele. A resident of Scott City, Kansas since July of 2008 moving from Wamego, Kansas, she was homemaker. Her memberships included the Red Hat Society and the American Legion both of Salina, Kansas. In 1947 she married James R. Couch. He passed away in 1969. She later married Jack Bussart on April 10, 1975. He passed away on June 20, 2001. Survivors include: One Son James Couch of Scott City, Kansas One Daughter Geri Shipman of Wamego, Kansas One Granddaughter Jackie Roudybush of Pawcatuck, Connecticut Three Grandsons Curtis Guy Roudybush of Manhattan, Kansas Rob Couch of Wichita, Kansas Curtis Couch of Manhattan, Kansas Four Great Grandchildren She was preceded in death by her Parents and Two Husbands. Memorial Graveside Services will be held at the Gypsum Hill Cemetery in Salina, Kansas at 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 3, 2012. Inurnment will be in the Gypsum Hill Cemetery in Salina, Kansas. Memorials may be given to the Park Lane Nursing Home in care of Price & Son Funeral Home in Scott City, Kansas There will be no calling times.
