Benjamin Harmon Hammons

Benjamin Harmon Hammons, age 82, died on Monday, December 22, 2014 at the Scott County Hospital in Scott City, Kansas. He was born on September 23, 1932 in Mena, Akansas, the son of Charles Thomas and Mary Pyle Hammons. A resident of Scott City, Kansas since 2004, moving from Kansas City, Missouri. He was a farmer. On March 2, 1956 he married Bessie S Nickel in Kansas City, Missouri. She passed away on February 23, 1995. Survivors Include his One Son - Tom Hammons of Mineral Point, Missouri, One Daughter - Kelleye Coke of Stella, Missouri, Two Grandsons - Ben Valley of Stella, Missouri, Todd Valley of Stella, Missouri, One Great Grandson and Two Great Granddaughters. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; One Son, Eric; Twin Grandsons; and 10 brother and sisters. Memorial Graveside Services will be held at a later date. Memorials may be given Benjamin Hammons Memorial Fund in care of Price & Son Funeral Home in Scott City, Kansas. Inurnment will be in the Scott County Cemetery in Scott City, Kansas. There will be no calling times.
