Barbara Jackson

Barbara Jeanette Jackson, age 58, died Thursday, October 31, 2013 at the Select Specialty Hospital at Via Christi St. Francis Campus in Wichita, Kansas. She was born October 11, 1955 in Garden City, Kansas the daughter of Albert Leo and Darlene Embree Lefort. Barbara had worked as a lab assistant for St. Catherine Hospital. Survivors Include: One Daughter, Emily (& Nathan) Wenck of Carroll, Iowa; Her Father, Leo Lefort of Utica, Kansas; One Brother, Mike ( & Jenifer) Lefort of Kansas City, Missouri; Three Sisters, Laurie ( & Sam) Henderhan of Kremmling, Colorado, Sheryl Schuster of Neodesha, Kansas, and Suzanne Phipps of Garden City, Kansas; One Grandson, Matthew Wenck of Carroll, Iowa; and One Granddaughter, Meleah Wenck of Carroll, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her mother. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 16, 2013 at the Price & Sons Funeral Home in Garden City, Kansas. There will be no public visitation. Inurnment will be held at a later date in Valley View Cemetery in Garden City, Kansas. Memorials may be given to the A.F.T.D. (Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration) in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home of Garden City.
