Aruellius “Al” S. Knoll, age 84, died Thursday, September 29, 2016 at the Garden Valley Retirement Village in Garden City, Kansas. He was born on June 3, 1932 in St. Peter, Kansas the son of Adam and Eva Richmeier Knoll.
On May 1, 1951 he was united in marriage to Alice Becker at St. Mary Catholic Church in Garden City, Kansas. She passed away September 5, 1992.
A resident of the Garden City community since 1936. He was a fourth degree knight in the Knights of Columbus and a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. Al was a farmer and stockman.

Roxanne and Mark Heckel of Holcomb, Kansas

Three Sisters Adeline Burgardt of Garden City, Kansas
Agnela Horning of Garden City, Kansas
Cyrlla L’Ecuyer of Eudora, Kansas
thirteen grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; five brothers, Gregory Knoll, Edwin Knoll, Edward Knoll, Clarence Knoll, Eugene Knoll; three sisters, Josephine Meier, Genevieve Meier, Glorianne “Gloria” Bascue; two sons, Gregory Knoll, and Rodney Knoll.
Mass of Christian burial will be on Monday, October 3, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church.
Vigil Services will be on Sunday, October 2, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church.
Open Calling will be on Sunday from 1-5 at Price and Sons Funeral Home, Garden City.
Interment will be at Valley View Cemetery immediately following mass.
