Armina Graff “Tiny” Palkowitsh age 89 of Lilburn, GA, passed away Wednesday, December 16, 2015. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Josephine (Werth) Graff; and her husband of 33 years, Anthon Leonard “Tony” Palkowitsh. She is survived by a son, Marcus Palkowitsh of Denver, CO; daughter, Mindy Crean (John) of Lilburn, GA; 4 grandchildren, Kevin Crean (Amanda) of Mt. Pleasant, SC, Mary Shutter (Nathan) of Flowery Branch, GA, Leslie Wellborn (Trae) of Madison, GA and Lauren Crean of Paris, France; 4 great grandchildren, Kate and Jack Crean, both of Mt. Pleasant, SC; and Declan and Rowan Schutter both of Flowery Branch, GA. Tiny married Tony Palkowitsh on November 9, 1942 in Monterey, CA. She lived in Wichita County, Kansas, for 53 years where she attended St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. She was a member of the Woman’s Auxiliary of the Leoti VFW, and the Kansas Association of Girl Scouts. During her married life she was a member of the “CowBelles” of the Kansas Cattleman Association. She enjoyed gardening and cooking large family meals. Later she moved to Ft. Collins, Colorado where she lived for 26 years. While in Ft. Collins she was a member of St. Elizabeth Anne Seton Catholic Church and its bible study group, and was a member of the Ft. Collins S.W.A.P. Club, Friends of the Library, and Larimer County Historical Society. She moved to Lilburn, GA, 9 years ago and began attending St. Stephen the Martyr Catholic Church. She was a loving mother, and a terrific grandmother, and adoring great grandmother. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, December 18, 2015 at 10:30 AM at St. Stephen the Martyr Catholic Church, 5373 Wydella Road, Lilburn, GA with Reverend Brian T. Lorei officiating. The Vigil for the deceased will be held on Thursday, December 17, 2015 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM with a Rosary Service at 7:00 PM at Tom M. Wages, Snellville Chapel. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 am Monday, December 21, 2015 at Leoti Cemetery in Leoti, Kansas. Those who wish may make memorial contributions in memory of Armina “Tiny” Palkowitsh to St. Stephen the Martyr Catholic Church or The American Heart Association, P.O.
