Arlene Q. Daniels, age 88, passed away on Sunday, May 20, 2012 at her home in Tribune, Kansas. Arlene was born December 30, 1923 at Bazine, Kansas, the daughter of Herman & Eunice Marshall Quenzer. A Greeley County resident since 1946 moving from Bazine, Kansas, she held a Masters Degree in Science earned from Fort Hays State University in 1976, was a former Greeley County Home Economist and Science Teacher at Greeley County High School.
Arlene was a member of the United Methodist Church, serving on the church scholarship committee; Cross Country EHU and the Women's Bowling Association all of Tribune, Kansas. She served as a Greeley County EMT, volunteered with the Greeley County Historical Society and the Helmwood Care Home Choir and Advisory Board. She served as a representative for Greeley County to the Southwest Kansas Agency on Aging and the Silver Hair Legislature. A member of the National Science Foundation Institute, she taught out- reach science classes at Garden City Community College in Garden City, Kansas.
On December 22, 1949 she married Laurence R. Daniels at Tribune, Kansas. Laurence passed away on March 22, 1988 at Tribune, Kansas.

Roberta & Rev. Mark Randall- Ridgefield, Washington
Laurence ( Deke ) & Diana Daniels, Jr- Tribune, Kansas
One sister-
Carol Clement- Temple, Texas
One brother-
Allen Quenzer- Brewster, Kansas
Eight grandchildren and Eleven Great Grandchildren
Her parents and two brothers have preceded her in death.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 am (MST) Thursday, May 24, 2012 at the United Methodist Church in Tribune, Kansas with the Reverend Mark Randolph officiating.
Burial will be in Greeley County Cemetery in Tribune, Kansas.
Friends may call from Noon until 8:00 pm Wednesday at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Tribune, Kansas.
Memorials may be given to the United Methodist Church in care of the funeral home.
