Anselmo Mancillas

Anselmo Mancillas, age 57, passed away at his home in Leoti, Kansas on Monday, November 3, 2014. Anselmo was born June 26, 1957 at El Tamarindo, Nayarit, Mexico, the son of Leocadio & Julia Ruiz Mancillas. A resident of Leoti, Kansas since 1992 moving from California, he was a mill worker at Caprock Industries. Anselmo was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Leoti, Kansas. On December 21, 1993 he married Hermelinda Mancillas in Leoti, Kansas. Anselmo’s surviving family includes; His wife, Hermelinda Mancillas ofLeoti, Kansas; Five children- Gabriel Hernandez- Scott City, Kansas, German Hernandez- Leoti, Kansas, Leticia Hernandez- Leoti, Kansas, Aurelio Mancillas- Leoti, Kansas, Julio Mancillas- Leoti, Kansas, Seven siblings- Domingo Mancillas- Leoti, Kansas, Audon Mancillas- Leoti, Kansas, Tranquilno Mancillas- Leoti, Kansas, Acension Mancillas- South Carolina, Juan Mancillas- Mexico, Grisel Martinez- Leoti, Kansas, Conception Mancillas- Leoti, Kansas, Eight grandchildren Lizeth Mancillas, Gabriel Hernandez, Juan Mancillas, Mario Hernandez, German Hermandez, Jasive Hernandez, Allie Hernandez & Delmar Hernandez. His father, a sister, Agustina Murillo and maternal grandparents precede him in death. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Leoti, Kansas with Father Benjamin Martin officiating. Burial will be at a later date. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be given to St. Catherine Hospice or St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church Building Fund in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home in Leoti, Kansas.
